  Hypertonic Sodium Chloride Solution AKA Saltwater Rinse  
  Indications  
  Edema, inflammation, antimicrobial, post procedural healing  
  Ingredients:  
  1/2 teaspoon of salt  
  4 ounces or 1/2 cup water  
  Directions  
  Warm water then add salt.  
  Swish and spit  

  Sodium Bicarbonate Solution AKA Baking Soda Rinse  
  Indications  
  Edema, inflammation, antimicrobial, post procedural healing  
  Ingredients:  
  1/2 teaspoon of baking soda  
  8 ounces or 1 cup water  
  Directions  
  Warm water then add baking soda.  
  Swish and spit  

  Sodium Chloride-Sodium Bicarbonate Solutions  
  Indications  
  Edema, inflammation, antimicrobial, post procedural healing  
  Ingredients:  
  1/2 teaspoon of salt  
  1/4 teaspoon of baking soda  
  1/2 teaspoon or 2.0 ml amaranth solution (synthetic red dye to make pretty)  
  8 ounces or 1 cup peppermint water  
  Directions  
  Warm peppermint water then add salt, baking soda and amaranth  
  Swish and spit  

  Tea Tree Rinse  
  Indications  
  Fresh breath, antimicrobial  
  Ingredients:  
  8 ounces or 1 cup water  
  1/2 teaspoon myrrh tincture  
  3 drops tea tree oil  
  5 drops peppermint extract or mint oil  
  Directions  
  Warm water, then add myrrh, tea tree oil, and mint. Mix together.  
  Swish and spit  

  Hydrogen Peroxide Rinse  
  Indications  
  Kills bacteria, helps with oral infections and may whiten teeth  
  Ingredients:  
  1 tablespoon 3% diluted hydrogen peroxide  
  1/2 teaspoon myrrh tincture  
  8 ounces or 1 cup of water  
  Directions  
  Mix water and hydrogen peroxide. Swish for 30 seconds, spit and rinse with water.  
  Do not swallow.  

Intended for cleaning Dentures, Partials, Nightguards, & Sportsguards

  Hypochlorite Solution  
  AKA Bleach (5% sodium hypochlorite) and Calgon  
  Indications  
  Loosens debris, dissolves plaque, and light stains  
  Contraindications  
  Can tarnish metal  
  Ingredients:  
  1 tablespoon bleach  
  2 teaspoons Calgon  
  4 ounces or 1/2 cup water  
  Directions  
  Warm water, then add bleach and Calgon. Immerse for 10 to 15 minutes.  
  You can soak overnight providing the dentures are metal free.  
  Take out and rinse.  

  Sodium Hypoclorite Solution  
  AKA Bleach Water  
  Indications  
  Loosens debris, dissolves plaque, and light stains  
  Contraindications  
  Can tarnish metal  
  Ingredients:  
  House bleach  
  Directions  
  Pre-rinse dentures under running water.  
  Then immerse denture in bleach for no longer than 5 minutes.  
  Take out and rinse with water.  

  Alka Seltzer Solution  
  Indications  
  Loosens debris, dissolves plaque, and light stains  
  Contraindications  
  Can tarnish metal  
  Ingredients:  
  Alka Seltzer tablets  
  Water  
  Directions  
  Follow the manufatures dosage information.  
  Then immerse denture in effervescent solution for 10 to 15 minutes or as suggested by the manufacture  


  Toothpaste  
  Indications  
  Clean teeth, fresh-smelling breath  
  Ingredients:  
  6 teaspoons baking soda  
  1/3 teaspoon salt  
  4 teaspoons glycerin  
  15 drops of peppermint, cinnamon or wintergreen extract  
  Optional: 35 drops of myrrh tincture (inflammation)  
  Optional: 1 teaspoon of clove oil (analgesic)  
  Directions  
  Mix ingredients and use.  
  Water can be added to adjust the consistency  

  Toothpaste  
  Indications  
  Clean teeth, fresh-smelling breath  
  Ingredients:  
  1 teaspoon Baking soda  
  1/4 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide  
  Directions  
  Mix and use
